The DRS line of systems is by far the easiest to install due to the fact the only plumbing involved is fitting in the pump and flow monitor.

Weather it be the DRS STANDARD or the DRS PREMIERE the install remains fairly straight forward.

You should have towels, a buckeT, pipe wrenches, Teflon tape, pipe dope, and necessary fittings for your application. This is DIY friendly but it is beneficial to have some plumbing knowledge prior to installation.

PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THOUGH BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION. OUR WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER DAMAGE TO SYSTEM OR SUBSEQUENT COMPONENTS IF DAMAGE WERE TO OCCUR DURING INSTALLATION. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE A LICENSED AND INSURED PLUMBER PERFORM INSTALLATION. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT THE OPERATIONS OR INSTALLATIONS OF SYSTEMS PLEASE CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE BEFORE INSTALLATION. IT IS ALSO RECOMMENDED TO INSPECT YOUR WATER HEATER FOR PROPER OPERATION PRIOR TO INSTALL. MANY TANK-LESS WATER HEATERS REQUIRE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE. IF ANNUAL MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN NEGLECTED PLEASE CONSULT THE MANUFACTURER TO ENSURE OPTIMAL OPERATION OF TANK-LESS HEATER. EVERY INSTALL WILL HAVE SOME VARIATIONS TO WHAT OUR INSTRUCTIONS SAY. Begin by shutting of the water supply to the home or if you have shutoff valves for the water heater and return line you can close those off instead. If you are shutting off the water main, you will need to drain the water from the whole system before cutting any pipe or undoing any fitting.

After shutting off the water, turn on all faucets and open the drain valve on the water heater if available. If no drain is available, or is being used for the return line, you will want to have a bucket and towel handy to collect any water that comes out.
